Porcelain biscuit reproduction of the busts of 2 children of brongniart alexandre and louise after jean antoine houdon. The architect alexandre-théodore brongniart, famous for the construction of the paris stock exchange (palais brongniart) The portraits are finely made, and designed in contrast. They turn their heads in the opposite direction. Alexander is dressed, while louise is naked. Messy hair for the boy and tidy bun for the girl. The originals were acquired by the louvre museum at the end of the XIX -th century. These 2 busts are made of biscuits and rest on a blue porcelain base, highlighted with golden nets.
