Brass wall lamp and glass with fine stripes mid-century

What an elegant little wall lamp. Base and wall lamp in brass, with a beautiful round glass lampshade with fine stripes. Maybe made in France, but more likely is that it was made in Italy. The lamp uses a pull switch to turn on and off. Inside the lampshade is a regular E14 bulb, 40W or recommended LED. Cabling suitable for both 110V or 220V network, socket in accordance with EU specifications. It is in perfect condition, measuring about 22 centimeters high.
