The DS-76 is an iconic modular sofa, designed and manufactured by De Sede in Switzerland. Thanks to its ingenious design, it can be transformed within seconds into a spacious and comfortable daybed or guest bed, without the need for any mechanical folding mechanism. When it was introduced in 1972, the DS-76 was considered revolutionary. At the time, no other sofa bed offered such a simple, elegant and intelligently engineered concept. Upholstered in thick, high-quality aniline leather with beautiful natural ageing. Over the years, the leather has developed a warm patina and an authentic character through regular use and exposure to sunlight.
