Cradle, folk art, 19th century alsatian polychrome wooden furniture. Cradle made for a child named fritz, born in 1837, in brumath, a village north of strasbourg. This piece of furniture was purchased in 1997 in strasbourg from a renowned antique dealer: bernard demay, strasbourg antique dealer, "la cour renaissance" rue de l'ail, author of the book "meubles polychromes alsaciens bernard demay, christine demay bastberg ".
