6 Bernardaud Limoges Borghese dessert plates with blue rim and fruit ribbon

An elegant set of six fine Limoges porcelain dessert plates, signed Bernardaud France, Borghèse pattern. The central decoration features a basket of fruit and flowers tied with a blue ribbon, set against a wide, marbled cobalt blue rim, encircled by a thin gold band. The translucent white porcelain features a polychrome underglaze decoration, typical of Bernardaud creations from the 1980s and 1990s. This “Borghèse” pattern also exists in yellow; the blue version is rarer and more sought after. Diameter: 17 cm Height: 2 cm.
