Restored vintage boarding school wardrobe

Small bonnetière wardrobe, restored school or boarding house cloakroom Solid oak structure, oak veneered panels, all mounted on tubular metal legs. Dimensions H175 x W60 x D55 Layout in 2 parts On the left side, a small hanging space and on the right, a shelf section. The carcass and the door have been stripped and then coated with clear varnish before being waxed, this finish enhancing the patina of time. The legs have been stripped and polished before being varnished to stabilise the raw metal effect. Some signs of wear have been preserved; the wood is not pitted.
