Vintage Everest coffee table in walnut – "surfboard" style (1960s)

Attributed to the Everest manufacture (often distributed by Heals at the time), this coffee table stands out for its iconic shape and the richness of its materials. The top features convex lines along its length and a fish-tail finish at the ends. The surface is made of richly grained and contrasting walnut veneer, while the tapered and curved legs echo the warm hue of sapele. Beneath the main top, a slatted shelf serves as a magazine rack.
