Vintage Hergil clip lamp | '50s | bakelite

Extraordinary, cute and practical book reading light / clip-on spotlight from the 1950s by hergil germany. Is of red-black speckled bakelite. Also called, for obvious reason, a mushroom lamp. The shade can be rotated freely into any position imaginable. There is a handy on/off switch on the lamp itself instead of on the cord. It is technically 100% working and despite its age in excellent and normally usable condition.
