Description
Snake coffee table by knut hesterberg for ronald schmitt, 1960s germany. The sculptural base of the table is made of polished aluminum with a thick glass top. Knut hesterberg was known for his minimalist, functional approach to design. His furniture creations are characterized by clean lines and simple geometric shapes. His designs have been shown at design exhibitions in, europe and the usa. He died in 2017 at the age of 75. His creations continue to be appreciated for their modern, timeless aesthetic, as well as for their functionality and durability. The table is in very good vintage condition.
