Italian mid-century chandelier in brass, 1950s

Elegant Italian mid-century chandelier from the 1950s or early 1960s showcasing the refined balance of form and material typical of famous Stilnovo projects from the same period. The overall size is 80 cm in height and 50 cm in diameter.  The chandelier features multiple opaline glass conical shades mounted on ecru metal holders of a tapered cylindrical form, each accented with a decorative brass ring. These shades are attached to gracefully curved brass arms radiating from a central ecru double-cone body, which serves as the sculptural core of the composition. The central element is suspended from a brass rod ending with a matching brass ceiling cup. The contrast of opaline glass, ecru metal, and aged brass gives the lamp both warmth and sophistication. This piece would make a stunning focal point in both vintage inspired and contemporary interiors. Additional information: It requires 5 E14 bulbs, The shade height is 25 cm.
