Vintage turkish oushak rug handmade low pile overdyed muted colors. These sturdy old knotted pile rugs come from the western anatolian region of oushak and isparta. They were made between 1940 and 1960. They have now been recycled to create a thoroughly unique, modern and colourful floor covering. The pile on these old/new rugs has been pared back, the original dyes neutralized, then the rug over-dyed with a deeply saturated single colour.
