Barbotine plate with seabed decoration in the Palissy style. Very beautiful trompe l'oeil barbotine plate hand-painted earthenware. Fish, cockle, scallops, lobster, corals and algae. The edge of the plate represents water and the foam of the waves. Very decorative. Around 1940/1950. Bright colors intact. No loss, no chip or crack. Can be hung on the wall. Also reminiscent of majolica earthenware from Portugal.
