Badonviller thistle plate, 1920

A pretty flat plate with a beautiful stenciled design of thistles in shades of green, enhanced by a few gold lines. Its wavy rim and slightly raised motifs add to its vintage charm. It would be perfect as a wall decoration, grouped with other plates, or perhaps on a festive table to present some petits fours. It comes from the Badonviller pottery (marked "FT Badonviller" on the back) and dates from 1920. It is in good condition, with no cracks or chips, but shows some signs of age: two tiny chips on the rim and slightly darker coloring in places. It measures 21.5 cm in diameter and has a maximum height of 2.4 cm at the rim.
