Liqueur service in Vermeil (925 Solid Silver gilded) - 6 cups & tray

I am offering a magnificent and rare oriental/middle eastern style table service comprising 6 small cups (H 8.6cm - diam. 4cm) and their matching presentation tray (diam. 21cm). The cups are made of Vermeil (solid silver covered with a thin layer of gold). Each is certified by the 925 hallmark stamped under the base (guaranteeing sterling silver). The total weight of the 6 cups is 460 grams, which reflects a very nice density and high-quality craftsmanship. They are entirely chiselled and hand-engraved with delicate floral and vegetal patterns. The circular tray features an openwork gallery and engravings matching the cups. It is made of unhallmarked brass (or gilded bronze). The set is in very good vintage condition. The gilding is bright and the engravings are perfectly clear. No chips or deformations to report. It is a high-end set of great elegance.
