4 old Art Populaire mulched chairs

4 old straw chairs in the style of the "bauche" model by c.perriand or mulched chairs by c. Dudouyt. French folk artwork. The seats are braided with several rye straws twisted together. The braiding is thick and makes the chairs gain originality and authenticity. Condition: traces of normal use due to seniority. The raw wood has the marks of time visible on the photos (traces, marks, scratches, stains). The straw of the seats is in good condition. It presents the imperfections related to their age (fraying of the straw), without consequences. Note: on a chair, it can appear as a hole in the seat (see photo). It is only the braiding that has moved over time. Dimensions of a chair: height 87 cm / length 41 cm / depth 35 cm. Seat height 45 cm.
