Superb Louis XVI style lamp from the 1920s-30s. Made of bronze, with original gilding and patina in very good condition. This young faun, crowned with a wreath of vine leaves, holds a vase. The faun's legs, true to the figure of the Greek deity, are those of a goat. The base of the lamp is adorned with beads. Decoration in the style of Claude Michel, known as Clodion (1738-1814). The bronzes are finely hand-chiseled, a guarantee of quality craftsmanship. The lamp is perfectly stable. The electrical system has been completely refurbished (for E14 bulb). Supplied with a beige lampshade, with yellow and green trims, in very good condition; please note a small hole at the back of the lampshade (see last photo).
