Beautiful and original yellow-orange glazed ceramic tray imitating the appearance of wicker and a wooden vine for the handle. It was originally a cheese tray, but one can also imagine presenting slices of quiche or canapés for a dinner aperitif. It is stamped Vallauris in relief on the underside. It probably dates from the 1960s or 70s. It is in good condition, with no cracks or chips, just a small chip under the base, which is invisible where it is placed. I have replaced the hardened seal under the tray at the nut that holds the handle. The handle is slightly askew, but that seems to be original to me. It measures 30 cm in diameter and the handle is about ten cm high.
