Country-style Parisian wardrobe in solid fir with two doors opening on the same side. It was a service wardrobe used in a back kitchen. It was placed against a side wall to the right of the room, and the carpenter who made it intended for the doors to open on the same side for convenience. Today, you can place the wardrobe wherever you like, but in any case, this feature adds a lot of charm. It is a tall wardrobe made of solid wood, with full doors, probably from the early 20th century, as the sides are made of two panels separated by a moulded crosspiece. There is also a moulded cornice, which would have been simpler and quicker to manufacture if it had been made after the war. The baseboard is more recent. Inside, there is a central divider, four shelves on one side, and one on the other. The entire piece has been cleaned inside and out, treated against woodworm, and its functionality has been checked. The two doors lock, and each has its own key. The patina is raw, rich with stories, and there are numerous signs of use throughout. Its easily manageable proportions allow you to use it in almost any room, the kitchen for dishes, the bedroom for linen, etc. The doors and shelves are removable, while the body is a single block.
