Oil on canvas signed Jacqueline Luyton (1923-2018) (signature hardly readable) This amateur painter, who never exhibited or sought to sell one of her paintings, was a former resistance fighter, very committed to the left. She frequented Picasso, Briata and Fernand Léger. She was the wife of the Toulon architect Paul Luyton, whom she had met in the resistance. Still life depicting flowers. Very good condition with vibrant colors. No rope on the back to hang it. Dimensions of the frame: 85x 73cm and the painting: 75x60cm.
