Remarkable antique Spanish armchair in Frailero style, a piece of monastic furniture with great authenticity and a rare presence. The structure is made of dark carved solid wood, featuring fluted uprights, scroll-shaped armrests, and a finely crafted openwork lower crossbar. The seat and backrest are made of natural full-grain leather, secured with original forged black round nails. The leather has a beautiful warm and supple antique patina, in very good condition. The whole exudes a sober and timeless elegance, balancing monastic austerity with Spanish baroque refinement. An ideal piece for a characterful office, an enthusiast's living room, or a collector's cabinet. Period: 17th-18th century. Origin: Spain.
