A long, narrow stem opens in an upward motion to catch an upturned cone that hides the light source. Nickel finish. Pietro Chiesa (Milan 1892-Paris 1948) is known for his work that combines extreme modernity with exceptional technical ability. In 1932, Pietro Chiesa was asked by Gio Ponti to share the artistic direction of the newborn Fontana Arte, a role that allowed him to fully express his creative genius by designing more than a thousand different objects (furniture, tables, lamps, stained glass, art objects, etc.).
