Persian carpets

Persian carpet from vintage iran. 185x127 cm without fringes. The field is covered with the motif "boteh-miri" (in iranian the word means princely flower) in the colors cream, blue, pink and red a flamboyant red background. Between the "boteh" appears fine flowers and foliage. Repetitive motive that immobilizes eternity. A set of 8 borders bring a lightening of the entire carpet. The main border represents stylized flowers while the others offer geometric shapes. This brings harmony necessary for an effect of great softness. Color: blue / brown / pink / red. Condition: good condition. Edges slightly eliminated in a few places. Wool missing in one place (about 3/4 cm) not obvious given the color.
