Rare Aiguière Vase in Moustiers Faience – Signature Melchior Marseille

A ewer-type vase (or large decorative water pot) in Moustiers faience. This piece, in pure stanniferous white, is a beautiful example of Provençal craftsmanship, combining classic forms and simplicity. Vintage/chic decor. Main characteristics: Design: Curved body resting on a pedestal, featuring two symmetrical handles and a tubular spout. Brand & Authenticity: Under the base, there is a handwritten signature in blue ink characteristic of the prestigious Marseille house "Melchior - Marseille" and the original label. Dimensions (see photos with measuring tape): Height: approx. 25.5 cm. Neck diameter: approx. 13 cm. Base diameter: approx. 13 cm. Condition: The piece is in very good overall condition, with a shiny glaze and no cracks. Note: A tiny chip is present on the lower edge of the spout (visible in the close-up photo).
