Superb modernist soliflore vase in heavy crystal, iconic "Bulls-Eye" (or peacock eye) model, designed by the designer Heiner Düsterhaus for the famous German manufacturer Walther Glas (West Germany) in the very early 1970s. A centrepiece of Pop Art and Mid-Century design, remarkable for its work with frosted raw glass and its central coloured target (cobalt blue and red) hot-inset into the mass. Its circular shape and clean lines beautifully capture the light.✨ Exceptional piece for collectors: This vase still has its two intact original labels ("Walther Kristallglas - Made in Western Germany" and its green sticker), an extremely rare fact that attests to its authenticity and historical value. Period: 1970s Origin: West Germany (FRG) Style: Pop Art / Hollywood Regency / Minimalist Material: Heavy moulded crystal Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The crystal has superb transparency, with no cracks or chips. The labels are very well preserved.
