Rare set of wall sconces by Cosack Leuchten from the 1970s, a beautiful example of German design from the space age period. The lamps are made of chrome-plated metal with an organic semi-transparent anthracite smoked glass shade, providing soft and atmospheric light. The square fixture features a slight curve and a trumpet-shaped bulb holder, diffusing light in an indirect and even manner. The original glass shade is equipped with a bayonet fitting and can be easily removed for cleaning or bulb replacement. These lamps can be used as wall sconces or sculptural ceiling lights and fit perfectly into a mid-century, space age, or modern interior. The warm diffusion of light through the smoked glass adds an elegant and timeless touch to any room. Each lamp is carefully cleaned, polished, and technically checked in the Bij de Tijd workshop, ready for immediate use. We have two identical pieces in stock, sold individually.
