Large vintage rug from France, 1970s – 100% pure wool – 200 × 300.

Authentic large vintage French rug from the 1970s, kept in my family since its purchase. It still has its original France Tapis label, indicating: design 563, colour red, size 200 × 300 cm, Made in France, model/quality "FOLIE", 100% pure wool. Its generous dimensions of 2 × 3 metres and its very characteristic 70s design make it a true decorative piece, with a deep palette of reds, burgundy, and orange. Its condition is exceptional for its age. Installed in a room very rarely used by my grandparents, it has never been walked on with shoes, nor even with slippers. My grandmother insisted that we only walk on it barefoot. The rug has thus retained very beautiful colours and a remarkable appearance despite its nearly 50 years of existence.
