Old military trunk 40/50s

Very beautiful old military trunk, solid wood, very rare format, almost "not found" (this is the first one I meet), estimated in the 40s / 50s, in good condition, solid, robust, massive, (a little more than 26 kg!), the piece was lightly sanded to remove impurities on the wood and rust on the steel parts, while preserving the patina and the traces of life that make all its character! A protective varnish of brown oak was passed in finish, which allowed to accentuate the patina and the character of this superb trunk! Height 61.5cm, length 78cm, depth 44cm.
