Large period cradle on wheels / Baker's cart, circa 1930-50

Mobile cradle of popular art (also referred to as a baker's cart), dating from the mid-20th century. This solid wood object has a dual historical function: mounted on four original solid wood wheels, it served as a supplementary cradle in bakeries or farms to keep children nearby while working. It was later used as a utility hand cart. Its structure consists of side panels with vertical slats and two push bars at the ends. Decorative use: Its dimensions allow for various repurposing options: a toy chest in a bedroom, a log holder by a fireplace, or a display for a shop, hotel, or restaurant.
