Fritz Hansen, "Canada" Model, 3-Seater Sofa painted Almue, Danish Modern, 1939

A charming example of the "Canada" sofa, designed by Christian E. Hansen for Fritz Hansen in the 1940s. The sofa is made of wood, later painted in a Swedish "Almue" style, with some lovely floral patterns. It is upholstered and has a rotating cushion in colourful vintage fabric from the 1980s. This piece is in very good vintage condition. This beautiful three-seater sofa would suit many interior styles, including Scandinavian, classic, or decadent Art Deco.
