Art Deco ceiling lamp from the 1930s made in Poland, featuring a spherical glass shade in white with a delicate spiral relief that adds subtle dynamism. The glass surface is glossy, making the decorative lines catch the light. The shade is mounted on a proportionally small, round metal ceiling rosette with a matte, slightly brushed silver-grey finish. The rosette is decorated with stepped, geometric embossing, corresponding to the minimalist tendencies of the era's design. Visible classic screw connections emphasize the authenticity of the vintage piece, and the whole presents a solid construction typical of original early 20th-century lighting fixtures. The condition of the lamp is very good – the metal elements show minimal signs of wear, and the glass shade is free from visible damage or discoloration. This lamp preserves echoes of Polish Art Deco from the 1930s: the spiral relief of the glass forms a calm melody introducing a breath of modernity to interwar interiors. The shade appears to easily filter daylight, creating a soft glow in the room; the metal rosette speaks of the geometric discipline that accompanied bold steps towards simplification of form and functionality in the 1930s. Each glance at this object evokes the atmosphere of Warsaw's modernist tenement houses, where details – though modest – pulsed with the rhythm of new times. This type of lamp can be used as a central fixture in a living room with modernist elements, where its round shade effectively diffuses light in both high and more intimate spaces. The lamp pairs well with furniture of geometric lines: lacquered chests of drawers, low tables on metal legs, as well as mirrors in veneered frames or details made of black Bakelite. Interiors in the spirit of Art Deco, but also those combining classicism with the avant-garde of the 1930s, will gain a calm, unadorned light point thanks to this lamp.
