Vallauris decorative plate – hand-decorated – modern style

Very beautiful glazed ceramic plate from vallauris, france. Stylized decoration, engraved and hand-painted representing two abstract silhouettes, fish and a sun, in an aesthetic freely inspired by the mediterranean modernism of the 50s and 60s. Bright colors: anise green and almond green on a satin blue-grey background. Piece signed under the base: vallauris – hand decoration with painted monogram. Artisanal workshop work, typical of the ceramic tradition of vallauris. Dimensions • diameter: 21.5 cm • height: 3 cm (estimated weight: 600 g) condition good general condition – some small enamel chips visible on the edge (see photos), without weakening the piece. Very bright enamel.
