3 ARTIMETA metal nesting tables

Rare set of 3 metal nesting tables designed by Floris H. Fiedeldij for the Dutch company Artimeta in the 50s-60s. Solid tubular frame painted black with perforated metal panels painted alternately in white and black. Beautiful patina consistent with age and use. The 12 legs of the tables are finished with a rubber tip. Dimensions (length X width X height in cm): - large white table: 48.5 X 33.5 X 41.5 - medium black table: 41 X 33.5 X 38.5 - small white table: 33.5 X 33.5 X 35.5. The set is in good original condition. It does not appear to have been repainted in the past, so it is likely in fairly good original condition. The metal tubular frames of the three tables are solid but have several paint scratches and superficial rust spots. The perforated top panel of the large white table has only a tiny paint defect, while the black panel of the central table has some rusty paint defects that are only visible up close due to the black color. The paint on the four corners of the top panel of the small white table is slightly worn. In summary, this rare set benefits from a beautiful original patina consistent with age and use.
