art deco style counter buffet - renovated

The retro style is there with this 2-door buffet from the art deco years and its charming display, as beautiful from the front as from the back, which allows it to be placed in the center of a room: indeed, if it will be perfect as a dresser in a kitchen or a dining room, its professional furniture side also allows you to easily imagine it as a checkout counter in a restaurant or a shop. In solid wood (mainly pitch pine) and with original silver metal handles, this piece of furniture has been completely sanded and then cleaned. Its natural patina has been slightly reworked in order to lighten it before protecting it with a bio-sourced oil for furniture, leaving the wood with a matte appearance. The interior is left natural, only the shelf and the floor are oiled to facilitate cleaning. Total dimensions: height 108cm, depth 55cm, width 111 cm. Height of the top: 81 cm. This sideboard is sturdy, with the quality of a solid wood piece of furniture, the doors and drawers work well, the feet are stable. It has been carefully renovated and to keep all the authenticity of this old piece of furniture, the imperfections or irregularities of the wood have been preserved, in particular some traces of the old paint (beige) which give the wood a nice patinated effect. The majority of the old woodworm holes have been filled in, except those under the piece of furniture, they have all been treated. Inside, light traces on the shelf and the floor correspond to repairs to the wood that have remained visible.
