Vintage French Round Hall Lantern In Copper With Cylindrical Glass Shade 3681

Vintage french country hall lantern single ceiling light in copper and glass. The lantern is made up of a copper framework with a round piece at the top and bottom and three holding bars around the sides. To the top of the lantern are three recurve arms leading to a small canopy. The shade is one piece of cylindrical glass which sits neatly within the framework. The lantern hangs from a cup style ceiling rose and a bar which goes through the centre of the canopy and holds the single bulb holder. The light is in full working condition with its original 2 core wiring and it takes 1 large screw in bulbs e27. The frame is in good vintage condition with some marks and patina associated with age and use. The hanging bar is in 2 pieces and leans to one side when hung.the glass is complete and free from chips or cracks.
