Very beautiful console from the 1970s combining a light travertine top with a patinated metal structure in copper-bronze tones. The design is understated, architectural, and perfectly balanced, with a monolithic central base that gives it a sculptural presence while remaining very elegant. The contrast between the warmth of the metal and the mineral texture of the travertine works particularly well. A piece with a chic modernist style, ideal for an entrance, a living room, or an interior inspired by the worlds of Gabriella Crespi or Italian design from the 1970s. The top has a small discreet chip visible in the photo, with no impact on the overall aesthetics or the stability of the piece. It is in very good condition otherwise.
