Ophélie mood lamp, vintage, Georgia Jacob, 70s.

A unique design close to art deco for this ophelia ambient lamp by georgia jacob. It is an ivory-colored resin lamp. It is in good general condition (no scratches or impacts). The lampshade is in the shape of a draped corolla. To obtain the undulating shape that makes it so original and specific, a piece of fabric was dipped in resin which produces pretty effects of volutes and drapes. This "ophelia" lamp was designed by georgia jacob and was produced in france in the 1970s. It was inspired by the shape of a hanging handkerchief or a flaming torch. It has a white marble base and a blue-gray resin lampshade. Once lit, it diffuses a soft light to create a beautiful subdued atmosphere in the belle epoque spirit. The signature that was on the foot has faded over time and successive cleanings. Base diameter 10 cm.
