Porcelain sugar bowl from the 1970s, produced by the Karolina factory in Poland, represents the Rococo style as interpreted during the PRL era. The body is in a warm, slightly creamy shade of white, with a smooth, glazed finish. It features hand-applied gilding on the edges of the lid, handles, and base, as well as a gold band encircling both the body and the lid. The sugar bowl is decorated with a turquoise-green band with a repeating golden plant motif. The piece is finished with asymmetrical handles with Rococo scrolls and four small, curved legs that give it a light appearance. The lid has a sculpted, openwork handle with gilding. The porcelain surface remains smooth and shiny, with no signs of damage or restoration. Condition: very good; all decorative elements are original and well preserved. The form of this sugar bowl evokes the atmosphere of late modernism, when design inspired by historical styles played with tradition.
