Vintage opaline globe sculptural wall light

Sublime artistic creation from the 1980s, this incredible wall sconce with baroque and romantic charm resembles a water-spouting mascaron that has escaped from an 18th-century fountain! It would have preferred light to water, thus becoming a glass blower! However, the ancient references stop at the modernity of the material used, moulded resin, and the colour, a magnificent bright sky blue, resulting in an almost dreamlike effect! The opaline globe is mounted on a patinated metal swan neck arm equipped with a bayonet socket. A unique piece, highly original, both decorative and artistic, ideal for adding an unexpected touch to an interior. Very good overall condition except for chips in the paint visible in the photos, which do not require any restoration and add even more charm to the object. Globe in perfect condition.
