And, the most "original" fact of his career, he even surpassed terrestrial boundaries. On April 28, 1990, the space shuttle Discovery carried the first works of art to travel in space, namely 250 engravings by Antonio Andivero! They were selected by the European Space Agency in collaboration with NASA to celebrate their 25 years of partnership during the launch of the Hubble telescope. Born on November 20, 1934, in Montevideo, Uruguay, Antonio Andivero studied Fine Arts from a young age. His first exhibition took place when he was 11 years old as part of his school, he explains with his Latin accent: "I have always drawn... And I entered an art pilot school in Montevideo for 6-12 year-olds early on. There, a teacher introduced me to colour and engraving... That was the beginning of my vocation."
