Biot bubble glass vase

Large bubble glass vase, biot style. Model on round foot, flared neck, unsigned. In bubbled blown glass, all produced in the 60s probably by the french riviera manufacture biot which transforms the glass bubbles then considered a defect, into a decoration process. Gas bubbles are deliberately created in the glass mass and bubbled glass takes on its letters of nobility. In excellent condition, not a crack or a sparkle. 29.5 cm height. 16 cm diameter at the neck. 10.5 cm diameter at the foot.
