Very beautiful antique florentine style ceiling light in gilded metal, probably made around the 1950s, attributed to the italian craftsman biasca, known for his decorative lighting with baroque and plant influences. This is a typical model of what is sometimes called "florentine tole" or "hollywood regency style" in decoration. Characteristics: style: florentine, inspired by baroque and rococo material: gold leaf metal or gold paint, flowers and foliage in relief total diameter: 37 cm height: approximately 22 cm lighting: 3 light arms with sockets for flame-type bulbs (e14 base) fixing: ceiling suspension with metal ring on the back condition: good general condition, slight wear of the gilding and small traces of time visible (see photos). A light cleaning may be considered to restore its full shine. Electricity: wiring present but not tested -.
