Superb glazed earthenware vase by hubert bequet, made in the quaregnon workshops in belgium. This model, numbered 525, is distinguished by its ovoid shape with two asymmetrical openings and its lively decoration combining ruby red, golden yellow, turquoise touches, and gold highlights. An aesthetic typical of productions from the 1950s and 1960s, where formal elegance combines with chromatic fantasy. The piece is in very good condition, with the only signs of age being a slight fading of the gold edging. No cracks, chips, or chips. The glaze is intact and bright. Marked under the base "525", as was customary at the bequet workshop for its limited edition pieces or export models. Hubert bequet (1890-1971) is a key figure in post-war belgian earthenware. He was able to impose a baroque and expressive style, often embellished with gilding and very colorful pictorial effects, recognizable among all. - weight: 0.790 kg -.
