Wood and straw armchair by Charles Dudouyt

Set of 2 authentic armchairs by the famous Charles Dudouyt. Made of straw for the seat and lightly tinted natural wood, these low armchairs from the 1960s rest on a turned cylindrical base that is slightly conical. The two front armrests also serve as legs, extending to adjust each with a bar secured at the front, in a small sphere (which echoes the one that finishes the rear base), and at the back directly into the conical leg. These pieces are unmarked as he did not sign them, but they nonetheless bear the artist's touch. The lines and spheres alone signify the product. This set is in good condition and is sold with a handmade coffee table in the same style as a gift.
