1950s ceiling light with glass made by Raak in the Netherlands

This is a unique ceiling lamp by the Dutch manufacturer Raak, model Raak R-28/P. Made of high-quality black metal, this cylinder-shaped lamp has a fuzzy glass shade with thick pieces of glass placed on it. This allows it to emit a unique light, softly diffused by the fuzzy glass, slightly distorted by the thick pieces! It emits a beautiful warm light in the room as well as on itself. A great find of Dutch vintage design! It can hold two bulbs up to 60W. This beautiful piece remains in very good vintage condition with a beautiful patina.
