Old hand-woven mauritanian rug, made from reed and leather from tuareg communities. The mat is decorated with strips of goat and camel leather and fabrics. The weave is complex, an incredibly durable must-have for the harsh climate of nomads. These rugs are made to last a lifetime, and meet many needs - floor mats, bedding, partitions...
