Vintage wool thread painting

Very beautiful impressionist-inspired country scene, handmade from chantal de beys' wool yarn collage, we find in this wool painting, much of the aesthetics of the great vincent van gogh. Did you know: since the 1950s, the huichol indians, a community located in the sierra madre occidental in central-western mexico, have developed the art of colored thread paintings. This technique consists of coating a piece of plywood with beeswax, then gluing colored threads to it to form patterns.
