Mahogany "bobbin turned" beaded wood shelf

Magnificent antique four-tiered shelf, crafted from solid wood, most likely mahogany, with turned, beaded wood uprights. A truly beautiful piece, exquisitely detailed, the beaded wood turning of the uprights is of exceptional quality, with a regular, controlled, and refined rhythm. It exudes absolute elegance and would perfectly complement a contemporary or shabby chic interior, for example, adding a touch of sophistication with its delicate lines and rich color. It features rings on the bottom of the top shelf for securing it, and screw-on brass knobs, a delicate decorative detail that also allow the shelves to be tightened onto the uprights. One of the bottom knobs is missing. Ideal for storing books, it could also serve as a display for curiosities or a spice rack... Its purpose will depend on the room and its intended use! The patina is old, and signs of age are visible on the tabletops, including scratches and variations in color (as seen in the photos). It needs cleaning to restore its full luster and shine.
