Rustic master piece of furniture, bedside table, late 19th century

Rare small antique chest of drawers in solid wood, handmade in the second half of the 19th century. This piece could be a master chest of drawers, designed to demonstrate the know-how of a young cabinetmaker before becoming a craftsman. It has two stacked drawers, with added handles in patinated metal and white porcelain. Traditional construction, harmonious proportions, and superb natural patina of the wood which give it a unique charm. Ideal as a bedside table, occasional furniture or to enrich a collection of antique miniature furniture.
