Farm table known as "convent" made of fruit wood (cherry or wild cherry)

The top is made of wide solid wood planks, showing a beautiful patina of use and pronounced grain. It rests on a straight base with a square section, slightly tapered at the bottom, typical of artisanal manufacturing from French regions. Notably, the apron features a cut-out at the front intended for a drawer (currently missing), attesting to its authenticity and historical daily use. Condition: Overall, the structure is in good condition. There are signs of use, natural cracks in the wood (notably at the joints of the top), and traces of previous restorations that enhance its authentic character. The absence of the drawer should be noted but does not affect the stability of the whole.
