Dining table "Tulip" by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International - 1960s

Magnificent "Tulip" table designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International in the 1960s. This marble table is iconic and recognisable thanks to its white cast aluminium base, making it a timeless piece of mid-century design. This original table, stamped underneath the base, is in very good vintage condition. It shows some signs of wear due to age, but is in overall very good condition. As you can see, the finish on the marble has yellowed; it is original and has never been replaced. The sun is responsible for this very particular yellowing of the finish.
